Although The Richmond is known for being a wedding space, it is also available to host many other events. The Richmond offers the perfect space to be able to host milestone birthday events, family celebrations, anniversaries, funeral teas & life celebrations. We are here to help make each event in The Richmond simple to plan and an ease for you to host.
Evening Celebrations
At The Richmond, we’re not just for weddings. Birthdays, engagement parties, anniversaries, charity nights, “just because” gatherings — if it calls for good music and great people in a room together, we’re in.
It’s dry hire, which means you choose the food, the vibe and the soundtrack. Street food? Grazing tables? Live band? DJ until midnight? Go for it. And if you’d like recommendations, we’ve got a solid little black book of trusted suppliers to share.
Our team is on-site throughout, running the bar and keeping everything flowing so you can actually enjoy your own party.
You’ll have access from 5pm to set the scene in time for a 7.30pm start, with the celebration running until midnight and if you need extra time either side, we can arrange that too.
Hire starts from £500, including furniture for up to 80 guests, with options for larger numbers and different layouts.

Our 4-hour daytime hire is £350, with the option to extend at £65 per additional hour if you’d like to keep things going a little longer.
We work with some brilliant local caterers, so whether you’re picturing a relaxed buffet, a sit-down lunch or a beautiful afternoon tea spread, there are plenty of options to suit your style.
Hire includes furniture for up to 80 guests, creating a comfortable, welcoming space for everyone to settle in and celebrate. Need extra tables, chairs or styling touches? We can arrange that for you.

Funeral Teas
The Richmond provides a respectful and appropriate setting to celebrate the life of your loved one. We recognise that planning a funeral can be a difficult experience, and we are here to support you. Our team will manage your requests with compassion and dignity, taking care of all the details while offering any assistance you may require.
We have a venue hire fee of £200 and we have partnered with Artisan catering for packages for wonderfully curated food options from £17.45 per head, with a minimum number of 40 guests. Our team will arrange the seating to your specifications and ensure the bar is fully stocked for your guests' enjoyment.
